The 2023 organizational meeting of the Ridge Road Fire District will be on January 3rd at 4pm at Headquarters, 1299 Long Pond Road.

It was great having Carry The Load stop by our headquarters station on their way through Rochester.
The national relay travels 20,000 miles covering all 48 continental stage through several routes including a stretch through our fire district.
Money raised goes towards supporting military, veterans, first responders, and their families so that they have access to counseling, adaptive training, suicide prevention, equine therapy, service dogs, job placements, transition, home improvements, scholarships for children, and more. More.

We are happy to be a part of the American Red Cross Sound the Alarm event and to make our residents safer!
Home fires claim seven lives every day, but having working smoke alarms can cut the risk of death by half. If you have a problem with your home smoke or carbon monoxide alarms, or if you would like help checking them, please give us a call. We are always willing to assist our residents in making sure they have working alarms or present alarms are working properly ... See MoreSee Less

Next weekend on May 6 you'll notice us out in our district conducting our annual Sound the Alarm campaign along with our partners at the American Red Cross.

This years target neighborhood is our designated HQ3, which are the areas north of West Ridge Road and west of Long Pond Road. We previously set out early in April to leave door hangars for people wishing to participate in our event and have scheduled times with those who reached out.

Just because we're planning to be in the HQ3 neighborhood on Saturday doesn't mean you have to miss out!

We are incredibly proud of our very own Michael Stoerger and the role he plays in fundraising for cancer research through his leadership with the Monroe County Fire Hockey team and as an employee of the district. At work and in his spare time, Michael exemplifies the role of community servant in the ways that he puts the needs of others ahead of his own.
Last night, the Rochester Americans recognized Michael for his efforts and honored him with the "Hometown Hero" award.
